Mr. Stephen Loh, PE teacher of NJC, drowned after his dragon boat capsized in Cambodia (not Thailand, as I mentioned in my previous post). He was one of the 5 who went missing, and the authorities have then found his body, together with the rest.He, coincidentally, is my PE teacher in NJC. He only taught for less than 2 terms, but was a great guy. He taught us many things which a normal PE teacher didn't. I'm sure his classes will miss him deeply.
Weird as it may be, I felt pretty numb when I first received the news. I guess I've learnt to live with the fact that life is fragile; you never know when it's your turn to leave this place. And so, it is important to cherish whatever you have, and learn to live your day to the fullest.
