New Motivation

It has been quite some time since I talked about anything serious. There are many global issues worth noting: Oil and Gold Prices sky-rocketing, Inflation in many countries including Singapore, the upcoming Taiwan elections, BN's lost in the recent Malaysian elections, Mas Selamat's escape, and of course, the US Presidential Election.
Not that I don't want to talk about them...of course I hold my own views, but it's tiring to elaborate on them as how eng yian does beautifully.
Back to my rather normal life then.
I've seen through a couple of things today. Somehow I lost it during the past few weeks, thank goodness it came back. Results aren't everything. It does matter here in a meritocratic Singapore, but it doesn't guarantee success. Back to my old belief: Work hard for it, and whatever that comes after is fate.
I've a clear idea of which university I'm aiming for, but if all else fails I'm fine with NUS or SMU. I suppose I'm back to my sec 4 days, trying to find that teeny weeny bit of joy in studying.
And thanks to my good old buddy, I'm a happy boy today again. =)
